What Cycle does

Cycle is a calendar for your period. You log flow, symptoms, moods and notes for any day, and it learns your own rhythm from the cycles you log. A Today card shows which day of your cycle it is, when your next period is likely, and your likely fertile window.

One-tap logging

Tap a day, pick how heavy it was, and add cramps, moods or a note.

Estimates that learn

Next period and fertile days, based on the average of your own recent cycles.

History at a glance

Every cycle and period length in one table, with your averages and range.

Your data, your way

Save a file, export CSV, print a summary, or lock a backup with a passphrase.

How to use it

1. Open Cycle. 2. Tap the first day of your last period and pick how heavy it was. 3. Tap the next days to log the rest of it, plus any symptoms or moods. 4. Check the Today card for your next period, and save a copy now and then.

Private by default

What you log stays in your browser on your own device. No account, no analytics, no server. The code is public on GitHub under AGPL-3.0, so anyone can check it. Estimates only: not medical advice and not birth control.

Cycle questions

Is there a free alternative to Flo and Clue?

Yes. Unsubbed Cycle is a free, open-source period tracker that runs in your browser. You tap a day to log your period, symptoms, mood and a note, and it estimates your next period and likely fertile days. There is no paid tier, no account and no ads. It is not affiliated with Flo or Clue.

Where is my cycle data stored?

Only in your browser, on your own device. Cycle makes no outside network requests, has no account, no cloud and no analytics, so nobody else can see what you log. You can save a copy as a file, and the code is public on GitHub for anyone to check how it works.

How accurate are the period and fertile-day estimates?

They are rough guides based on the average of your last few logged cycles, and they get better as you log more. Cycle assumes ovulation about 14 days before your next period. The estimates are not medical advice and must not be used as birth control. Talk to a doctor about anything that worries you.

Can I back up my data or share it with a doctor?

Yes. You can save a file to open later on any device, export a CSV spreadsheet, or save a backup locked with a passphrase so nobody else can read it. Print summary makes a clean page with your recent months and cycle lengths, which is handy to bring to a doctor's appointment.
